Minelog Recognised by ASEAN Records as the Largest Mid-Tier Homegrown Logistics Company for Export- and Import-Focused Global Brands

KUALA LUMPUR: Mine Logistics Sdn Bhd (Minelog) has officially been recognised by ASEAN Records as the Largest Mid-Tier Homegrown Logistics Company for Export- and Import-Focused Global Brands, achieving the impressive milestone of handling 103,806 TEUs in 2024.

This regional recognition underscores Minelog’s continuous growth as one of Malaysia’s leading total logistics solution providers and its contribution to facilitating international trade across global markets. The honour was presented during the ASEAN Records Gala Night 2025, a landmark event that also witnessed the official launch of Asia Records, expanding ASEAN Records’ reach to celebrate excellence across the entire continent.

The launch ceremony was officiated by Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Melaka, alongside with Mr Rizal bin Dato’ Nainy, Chief Executive Officer of SME Corporation Malaysia, Mr Chua Choon Hwa, Deputy Secretary General (Tourism) of Ministrry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), Mr Eldrick Koh and Ms Gillian Ooi, Managing Directors of ASEAN Records and Asia Records.

From its humble beginnings in 2009 as a sea-freight company, Minelog has grown into a comprehensive logistics provider, offering end-to-end services including sea and air freight, haulage and transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, project cargo handling, and cargo insurance.

Over the years, the company has achieved consistent double-digit growth, with total throughput increasing from 45,255 TEUs in 2021, 54,067 TEUs in 2022, 61,632 TEUs in 2023, and reaching a remarkable 103,806 TEUs in 2024. The strong surge in 2024 was driven by expanding global trade partnerships and growing customer trust across Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and Europe.
