Great 1 Year Journey

The word “Crisis” (危机 , wei-ji) in Chinese language comprises the characters for both danger and opportunity. Dereck Ng and Hong Yeow started Mine Logistics Sdn Bhd, at the tail end of the 2008/09 global financial crisis.

During the economic crisis. They took the right time (opportunity) despite of the risky economy environment (danger), started their logistics business with only 3 employees, but the company could specialise in only sea freight services at early stage due to resources constraint.

Minelog established clientele relationship by delivering values and assurance to customers, these attributes enabled the company to grow rapidly.

Mine Warehouse Services Sdn. Bhd. was established as a new warehouse business division.

Great 6 Years Journey

With continued growth and innovation, Minelog has expanded into haulage operation with 5 prime movers, attained ISO certification, and start-up B2B e-marketplace business division. We began to contribute to society through CSR.

In 2016, we were recognized for our commitment to excellence by receiving the SME Brand Laureate Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Top Nonimee Finalist) awards, and obtained a forwarding license.

We always excel for better services by obtaining the International Integrated Logistics Status (IILS), certified Lonpac Agency while handling 35, 000 TEUs per annum.

Great 10 Years Journey

Minelog was also awarded the Star Outstanding Business Award (SOBA), Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Par Excellent Achievement despite winning the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (Top Nominee Finalist) in 2018.

In 2019, we finally celebrated Minelog 10th Anniversary! We are growing stronger with 104 employees, expanded new 11, 000 sq.ft office, our warehouse capacity had increase up to 180, 000 sq.ft and we now have fleets of 25 prime movers, 102 trailers and 5 side loaders.

Corporate Restructuring

In the year 2020, we did a corporate restructuring and form our Holdings company. On 18th March 2020, our government announced 2 weeks lockdown to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and we run at 50% capacity to serve our clients to fight against the virus.

Achieving Greater Height

We had surpassed RM150m in group revenues in FY2021, expanded up to 50 units haulage fleets, secured a digital lending license for supply chain financing business, and launched revamped website and transformation plan.
